I think I finally figured out how to upload pics from my phone. I found this Macguyver'd shoe at the Whitely Gap shelter about 6 weeks ago. This is not a shoe wrapped in red tape, but rather a shoe made entirely of tape. Not sure what the paracord was designed to do. Maybe arch support. The high that day was in the upper 20s so I'm sure someone had some cold toes. Thought it was very creative. I was back up there a couple of weeks ago scouting for turkeys and it was gone.
