First trip of the year was great weather, dismal falls was perfect. Trents grocery store was pretty rude even to respectful hikers but oh well. Camped at Kimberling Creek without problems. Ran into Tattoo Joe a double triple crowner who was trying to catch up to a "thief" who went by Roadrunner. Supposedly Roadrunner stole a singular trekking pole from an older gentleman flipflopping north out of Marian. And Tattoo Joe was on a mission to catch up to him and get the man his pole back. Man was Tattoo Joe fast, I stayed with him about halfway up the mountain prior to Woods Hole but he just blew on ahead. Noticed a lot of dead trees around campsites in the section. Ended at woods hole (Sugar Run Gap) where Bubba picked us up. A++ Shuttle, IMO his prices are too low so I tipped him $15 extra. It was hard finding the way after us52bland at the white church at 12am.
