Trail Days?

Any WB'ers planning on attending Trail Days? I've been clowning around on this site and on trail since '08 but have yet to put faces to names. It would be cool to meet up and say hello.

NOPE. I don't want to be a part of the madness. While all the partiers are in Damascus, I'm going to take that time to hike.

I've met a few people on here just stopping through the trail towns & getting shuttles, and that's good enough for me.

Realistically how crowded is the trail the 2 weeks before trail days? Im assuming folks that are going to trail days and arent close enough to hike in will just catch a ride to Damascus.

Does the trail tend to be crowded or clear out within a 100 miles North or South of Damscus?

Last year during Trail Days I hiked from Sams Gap (I-26) up to 19E and the trail was almost empty except for day hikers around Carvers Gap.

This year I'm planning to hike South from Sams Gap starting the weekend of Trail Days.
