I can't remember- but I need to know where are the best views/vistas starting at Springer and heading north for 50 miles or so? For amazing pictures.

Generally after May there aren't many because the foliage/leaves have filled in. My favorite however, is on the top of Tray Mtn.

I have not been to many of them, but in VA I think that Tinker Cliffs is one of the best because of the several hundred yards of flat rock you can safely and easily take in the view.

If you have the AWOL guide they're pretty much marked with a camera icon. Some of my favs are Preaching Rock, Blood Mtn, and Cowrock between Woody Gap and Hogpen Gap. In fact there are several along that stretch.

Not much, really. Maybe Clingman's or Charlie's Bunyon if you get better weather than I did...

I hiked this area when there were no leaves on the trees. How do you think it will be mid-may?

Medium leaves, green most way up slopes
