best parking in port clinton

hey all gonna be hiking from 501-port Clinton over memorial day weekend. just wondering whats the best parking option for port Clinton.

The last time I was in that town was 3 years ago and I saw a hiker specific parking lot in the center of town.

Park at the softball field behind the train station. Have parked there many times and never a problem.
