For those of you that may not be going to Trail Days in Damascus this year, here is an option for you.


Pearisburg, VA is having their TrailFest on May 12 & 13 2016. I have included some links to the TrailFest site and the ATC page on this as well.

If you do to go to the TrailFest, stop by and see Anne, Caryn & Shannon at the Pearis Mercantile at 200 N. Main Street (less than a mile from the AT) and say Hi. They have a nice gift shop and a small outfitter shop. They are very knowledge about the area and the services offered to hikers.

Yes, It will be the same weekend a Trail Days in Damascus, May 13 & 14.
They have not published this years event schedule yet. As soon as the do, I will post them here (maybe a new thread for 2017)
