I have room for 3 or 4 hikers. I can pick people up anywhere between Pearisburg & hwy 311.
I would prefer to get going in the morning on Thursday, so we can get a good spot in "Tent City"

Sounds like the OP is covered, but I can offer a ride Friday morning and returning Sunday to anyone else looking for transportation. I only have room for one rider comfortably, two riders if someone is willing to sit in the cargo area of my Jeep with the gear. I will be leaving from Troutville, Va. and heading basically down the I-81 corridor. The only catch is that I am planning to do a day hike to the Channels near Saltville on the way back assuming decent weather, so the rider(s) would have to either join that hike or get an alternate ride home.
