Lots of shuttle services available in the area. But since you're thru hikers you must think someone will give you a free ride.Seems like in the last few years many thru hikers expect things just because they are "thru hikers". I expect thru hikers to pack out their trash but many still leave their trash and all kinds of gear and nasty clothing behind at shelters and campsites.:(

To The Cleaner: we're not thru hikers nor do we expect anything free during our open adventure. I would happily pay a reasonable price for a lift to our next stop. Unfortunately we do not know as much about the area because we have never been to this side of the country. If you know of a shuttle service please let me know as i have been searching all morning and asking people around if they might know of somewhere to lead me. And i completely agree with you about packing out trash. I have hiked many places and i find it disgraceful whenever i see plastic and broken glass across this beautiful land.

To Gambit: please make a reasonable offer or just stay out the conversation.

Thanks Gambit. I appreciate the humor. Sorry about being so straight forward. We've met a few bad apples on our adventure that have dampened our mood recently. Thank you so much for your help. Happy Trails Gambit!!!

I'd take a bike and you can probably rent a trailer to hitch on the bike for the dog
