Yesterday on my way home from Greenville, SC my wife & I drove through Cashiers, NC and dropped in on the Highland Hiker (http://www.highlandhiker.com/index.shtml).
They are having a Killer sale including 50% off of all Patagonia products including Capilene. That makes it almost affordable. Royal Robbins & Woolrich products are also 50% off, as is a bunch of other stuff.
If anyone is in the area and in need of some gear, you might want to head over there pronto. This stuff won't last at those prices. The store is on the corner of HWY 107 & 64, about 15 miles north of where the Foothills Trail crosses at Sloan Bridge.
