Roan Mountain section - Water/Tenting questions

Going out for a section hike next week, how's the water supply at Roan High shelter?

I didn't stop there last year, how's the tenting around the shelter?

Can't say about water.
Looked like a fair number of tent sites, but maybe more slope to the ground than what you'd prefer. We were there in the middle of the day, so didn't try it out.
