Tentative plans for an overnight out and back from VA-7 to Rod Hollow Shelter. Sam Moore isn't enough hiking but Rod Hollow might be too much for my wife's comfort level (or my own for that matter), given the up and down in this area. Anyone know if there are camping options beyond Sam Moore but short of Rod Hollow that could serve as bail out points? Thanks.
