Just wondering if there are any good camping options in this 15.8 mile stretch. My guidebook, which is usually pretty good about listing camping spots, doesn't list any. Any words of wisdom?

Thanks.

Yeah, there's a great one just south of humpback mountain. Not sure if you're going NOBO/SOBO, so here's some surrounding points
1327.8 rockfish gap
1332.8 Paul wolfe
1336.6 - last water before site if going SOBO
1339.3 humpback mountain
1340.1 - best campsite with tons of flat space and a great overlook. can't miss it.
1340.9 - side trail to humpback picnic area
1341.8 - laurel springs gap (get water here if you're going NOBO. none at site)

You are in luck. Tons of places to camp in this area. It would be a very short list if you wanted places you can't camp.

I hiked this section just a few weeks ago, plenty of options and plenty of water. You will not have any issues finding a place to camp. Enjoy your trip.
