How do people mount their cameras to their poles? I have been trying to find one but haven't succeeded?

As others have said, StickPic if what you want is a selfie stick. A more serious photographer might want a TrailPix (http://trailpix.myshopify.com/).

StickPic and I have also used one of the mounts went for handle bars for action camera. It mounts better on the top section of your pols for a more permanent mounting location.

I use a standard camera handlebar mount (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VAJTTJ8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on my trekking pole. It's light, has adjustable swivel, and doesn't move or vibrate.

I agree with the StickPic: http://www.thestickpic.com/. I also bought their iPhone holder that will stick to the stick pick.

The standard camera handlebar mount is available: http://goprodrone.org/product/B00VAJTTJ8/prost-MotorcycleBike-Handlebar-Rail-Mount-for-Sony-HD-Action-Cam-HDR-AS200V-AS100V-AS30V-AS20V-AZ1-FDR-X1000VR/

This link has their backpack strap camera mount device.

I think the Stickpic looks like it is UL.

For me, it is "as if" resistance is futile when it comes to trying out UL gear.

Suddenly, I need one of those! Thank you, sir.

Suluk46 had that sort of tripod mount, only UL, at his website.

I don't know what happened to it.

My pole mount is always attached to my trekking pole, so I just screw the camera on when needed. The mount is UL and weighs 0.8 oz. You never notice it on the trekking pole. A band of duct-tape helps it grip the pole better and it never slipped.

If you're into backpack mounts.. I use the StuntMan backpack mount (3.5oz) which worked well with my Sony HDR-AS50 ActionCam. Strong, stable, and easily adjustable in the field. I hung my bandanna on the pack and draped it over the camera if needed for concealment or light rain protection.
