I'm planning an AT section hike from Thornton Gap, VA to Harpers Ferry to start around 3rd week of August. Possible travel dates are Aug 17 or 18 but could bump to the next week.... hope to get it firmed up in next few days.
I'm flying up from Florida to BWI, then riding the MATC out to HF, likely stay at Teahorse Hostel that night.... then looking to get a shuttle ride the next morning down to Thornton Gap to start the hike.
can anyone suggest any shuttle drivers for such a ride?
first hike since my surgery one year ago for torn achilles tendon, recovery is now complete, really hoping everything goes okay on this hike.
