I said I'd show you all something awhile ago - sorry it took so long.

Sometimes when I set my Clark up the netting hangs down near my face so I came up with this FIX - it works for me anyway. I always read myself to sleep.
The first picture shows how the hanger (shirt) is bent and how it can fit in the hammock sack.
In the second shot I hook the ends of the hanger through the zipper tabs. The tabs can be moved to any height you'd like. The hanger wire can be cut to any length that works for you.

Cool!! Thanks for sharing. You can probably hang a headlight from there to light the inside.

I came up with something like that also and for the same reason.

The netting was always too "droopy".

I sewed some pockets into the hammock and into the top.
I cut some fiberglass rods and when you insert them into the pockets it expands the hammock. I have found that I don't have to attach the hammock to the bungy or even use the bungee anymore as I use a seperate tarp than the one that came with it....
Your idea looks lighter weight than mine and less time consuming to complete....thanks.

I have some pictures posted of what I came up with in my gallery
