Springer to Atkins VA Section Hike

Hello All,

I will be hiking from Springer to Atkins Virginia beginning in early September and ending around mid-october up near Atkins Virginia. Was curious if there was anyone else here doing a section hike during that period. I'm expecting it to be pretty slow on the trail with the exception of labor day weekend.

Sounds like youll be in the roan area around fall really kicking off. Should be awesome! Ill be up ahead in SNP then hopefully. Hope you have an amazing trip!

I'm planning the same thing. Except I'm hoping to go a little further/longer. I'd like to end up closer to Pennsylvania in mid November. But that's just a light goal. I'm flexible to pace, distance, and time spent on the trail.
