Looking to do 3-4 nights. Like to cover neels gap nobo, likely 10-12 miles per day. Have to be back for 9/1.

I could join you. Weekend starting Friday August 26 would be best for me. I don't have a lot of vacation time. I live in Woodstock too but spend weekends in Ellijay. If you're still interested let me know and I can PM you with my hiking experience, contact info etc.

If either of you are interested , I have arranged a shuttle (ron brown) from Neels Gap to AFSP Friday morning. If this section interest ya'll we could split the fare.... or maybe another idea comes to mind ? I am looking to hike fri 7am - sunday after noon . With GF and dog. welcoming company..

So you're parking at Neel's gap, shuttling back to the park then hiking back to your car at Neel's? Friday the 26th? If so, are you starting at Springer or doing the approach trail first? Maineiac64 and I have some PMs going to see if we can work something out.

I am going Monday, picked up at Woody Gap early and dropped off at Hightower. I will likely go past and come back either 1 or 2 nights.
