This is sort of short-string, but let me just put it out there. Does anyone want to thru-hike the Knobstone Trail in southern Indiana beginning the middle of next week? We'd start from the southern end and hike north. It is 58 miles of terrain similar to the AT, but is more primitive. I have the opportunity to do it, and I have to take it. Company would be nice, but if I get no takers I'll hike alone. I'm posting on other sites, too. I don't figure I'll get a lot of takers, but again, I'm just putting it out there.

Sounds like a great trip -- one I've been wanting to do. Won't work out for me, but I sure would love to hear how it goes.

Have a great and safe hike!

Knobstone is rough and dry. Need to stage water! Don't do it in 2.5 days...

Maybe could go next time--with a little more notice:). It is a rough dry trail like Sandbag said, I have hiked it several times. About as challenging as a trail can get in Indiana.
