Ever consider the Conecuh about 15 mi. south of Andalusia, AL? That is if you want a fairly easy to medium trail. It is advertised as a 20 mi. loop but it is really more like 24-25 miles. Never been there in the winter but it is really beautiful in the summer. Check it here: http://gorp.away.com/gorp/resource/us_national_forest/al/al_conec_2.htm

I often use this map for planning purposes : http://www.briartech.com/sipseyonepagea.pdf

Note however that the hurricane has left a fair humber of blowdowns on some of the trails especially those like 210 that are up on top of the bluffs

Thanks for all the help group.

Here are some pictures from our trip.

It was a blast!

Is there a place here where I could write up a "Trip report" or something like that?

Thanks again!
Will

Great photos! I was in the area of those falls (recognize the rocks from my own photos!) but at the time it was dry... I may have to take a trip back there. Let me know if you are able to put a trip report somewhere, I would like to know what route you took, where you camped...

Glad you enjoyed the trip!!
