Parking US 522 Front Royal

Any advice or comments about the parking at US 522 Front Royal.. Googled it and it looks sort of small and isolated but right on the AT. It would be an ideal location to jump off but how about parking car there for seven days???/

Note the warning about parking your car right on the road!
I'd park at a place that isn't quite so isolated.
