Met this group out on the trail yesterday morning. Great bunch of guys doing a great thing with a long time friend. I have a tough enough time out there just day hiking and these guys are literally carrying a friend with them. They had stayed at the Gooch Mtn Shelter the night before and were heading to Lance Creek. Definitely slow going. I would bet they are moving at less than a mile per hour based upon their progress from when I passed them on the way out and again on my return home. But they seemed very determined and my money is on them completing their goal. I wish them the best.
