Does anyone have any experience with these packs? Reviews and information in general regarding them, is hard to come by.

I came across them while looking at the Crown VC and was intrigued. I wasn't sure if they were new or just not popular.

They are new, and, as you say, intriguing. REI has them is a few stores and on line. If I was looking for a new pack I'd consider one.
