No water Brown Fork Gap Shelter, NC

There was no water this week, 9/1/16, at Brown Fork Gap Shelter. There was a small trickle at the actual Brown Fork Gap north of the shelter side trail. Also, Locust Cove Gap was a 10 minute bushwhack down the dry streambed to get a trickle.

Welcome to the Southeast drought. All my usual water sources are significantly lower. Just have to carry more water on occasion so your overall pack weight will go up.
