Thanks to my WhiteBlaze friends, I made my first short hike. I started at Springer Mountain and hiked about 24 miles. I was limited in time but it was still awesome. Water would have been an issue but thanks to your help I packed extra. (the weight was a bummer though)
I have a question. On this sight I use my nickname from my jobsite "Zman". The first morning at the base of Springer, I met a mom and her son. Emily and Ethan (maybe 12 yrs old).
We talked for a minute, then she asked me if I had a trail name. I told her no,this was my first hike. She said it was hers also and that she and her son needed a trail name also. As I walked into the trail, she yelled to me and said her son had a trail name for me. Rambo. Then she humorously flexed her muscles. Although I am in good shape and even favor Stallone in his facial features a bit ( and have been called this before) I would prefer Pitt or Cruz (lol), Is this now my trail name?
