i figured i would just throw this out here if anybody was looking for some weight savings i dont think 12.5 lbs is that heavy especially since my first pack i put together a couple years back was 28 lbs with no food or water. And i could lose some more weight if i wanted but comfort is the point too. feel free to critique as well always happy to learn something new.

1. probably gonna want rain pants/kilt ( I use the Z-packs rain Kilt @ 1.9 oz.)
2. why an extra long sleeve shirt if you have the Ghost Whisperer? Maybe consider a wind shirt, usually around 2-3 oz
3. Ditch the "town clothes", you can wear your rain gear while doing laundry.
4. Jetboil is heavy, even with the pot included. Consider an alcohol stove under an ounce or a 3 oz canister stove. (pocket Rocket type)
5. Enlightened equipment quilt will save you 6 or so oz.
6. If you replace the Notch with a Z-packs Altaplex, you'll save almost 10 oz.

Good pack and

Second on needing rain gear also adds another outer layer if temps drop and can wear them as laundry is being done. Drop the town clothes, it's better to take an extra something you can hike in and keep it separate if you wish to wear it clean in town and to have something else if you trash your active hiking clothes....or accidently burn your shorts as I did.

The stove seems to be a lot of weight. I'm thinking to go with an alcohol stove myself...

It looks like your most economical change would be changing the jetboil if weight savings are important. Amazon has a nice BRS can stove, 25grams for ~15 US

That stove is a fuel saver and simmers well. You will save weight with your fuel savings .
