I recently bought a 40l gorilla to down size and lighten my gear load as my circuit had more room than I need. On my Colorado trip a few weeks back I snagged a large hanging branch and ripped the rear mesh pocket. Totally my fault....later in the trip I noticed the stitching was coming undone on one of the hip belt pockets so I contacted them for a quote to replace the rear pocket and evaluate the stitching...after sending the pack in they notified me they would ship me a new pack at no cost....I can't say enough good things about all the cottage mfg I've delt with....

Interesting. I've heard elsewhere about durability issues with their packs. Glad they took care of you.

One of the list outsources their products from china.

Which is why their only recourse is to ship another pack.

I didn't realize that or I probably wouldn't have bought it....China is taking over the world without firing a bullet....I'm currently in Havana, Cuba at a meeting...China is moving in here just as they are in the US....

Maybe the China manufacturing is why The One is in stock.
I have also had good luck with most on the list.
