On Facebook, the App Trail Women's Group followed Stacy closely. She's an inspiration.

After watching a video about her mobility, and how she moved along, I have serious doubts about this entire story. Now the video I watched may have overstated the disability. It looked like she would be hand crawling with no help from her legs up and over every hill, ridge mountain and rock pile. Put me in the non-believer camp.

(sigh) Ok, well I am totally in the non-believer camp when it comes to the party girl who lied her way along the trail and claimed to break Scott and Karl's records... But Moldy, this girl really did do it. I followed along on her entire hike. It's very well documented online and in the media.

I met her at a hostel in Georgia at the beginning of my hike. She was recharging her batteries and had a great attitude. Glad to hear that she made it.

I met her at Mountain Crossings back in April. Glad she made it!

Getting beyond "paralyzed" as known heretofore gets you to the good stuff. What courage!
