Any experience with this tent?? What does it weigh? Is it large enough for a six-footer?

I have never heard of it...be more specific...where did you see it or hear ot it? Maybe another viewer has experience with it.

Coyote, a 4-time thruhiker, and several others over on TrailForums.com recommend this tent. An internet search gives several sources - it sells for around $35.00

I checked it at the source outinstyle.com and it did not give the weight but said it was six foot two inches by three feet. The price was $39.99.

I have an old 7 foot two man pup tent that I set up with my hiking poles and it weights 3 pounds even. That tent should be between 3-4 pounds I would guess.

According to the QuickDraw site, it weighs 5 lbs. and folds to 22" dia. x 1" . This doesn't sound like something I'd want to hit the trail with. But others gave it good reviews.

Could you use your hiking poles to reduce weight? It sounds like it sets up itself?

I did like a lot of others and went to the Wanderlust Nomad Lite....but it cost me $275 and took a LONG time to receive it.

Hiking poles are of no any use with this tent. It's self-erecting (3 seconds is claimed). Just take it out of it's carrying bag, throw it into the air, and VOLLA, it's ready to be staked down.

You are right the 5 lbs would eliminate it from my consideration based upon the size....the concept and freestanding ability sound great though!
