Any good sites for getting boots resoled. The treads on my Merrill's are getting torn up but the uppers are in good shape

It really depends on the type of boot (leather or fabric) if they can be resoled or not. I have had this done a few times with different boots locally, but the process tended to leave the boots slightly narrow and didn't fit as well.

There is a guy in Seattle WA (Dave Page Cobbler) who I found to be excellent and would recommend him to anyone. Theres shipping involved of course, however he's one of the best I have run into and will tell you if the boots can be resoled or if they are not well suited for it. Having a few boots resoled I can say they didn't change size after the process, one pair refitted with original soles, the other an after market sole due to boot wear.

I had Steve resole a couple heavy leather boots in the 70's and 80's. He's still working in His 70's.
