I need some help

I need some help in two things. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

1. I am looking for some type of check book with the Appalachian Trail theme.

2. I am looking for a very good picture of the plaque that is on Springing and in other locations in Georgia. The one with the hiker on it. What I would really like is a good clean picture of it right after it was made and before it became weathered if someone can come across one like that.

Rick, over the years I have acquired quite a library of AT books, I must have 40. In one of those books there is a picture of the plaque when it was dedicated but I can't remember the quality of the photograph. Actually it may have been the plaque on Oglethorpe. When I have an hour or so to look I will see if I can locate it and if it is a quality photo I will get it to you. As for the check, there used to be company in Portland called Dowchecks that printed chacks and would put anything on a check you wanted along with your banks proprr codes. I bet if you talked with your bank or credit union they would know if that company or a similar one still does that kind of work.

Here are some options I found on the Internet. I could not find anything Specific for the Appalachian Trail, but these organizations might help you create something or suggest to the ATC. Perhaps we could have a White Blaze check made up? :)

Rain Man I have heard from Briarpatch who is the info director for the Georgia Appalachian trail club and he said he would look into it. But if you can get some more info then have at it. I am hoping to come up with and image by the end of next week. I need it for a project I am working on.
