Just found the other photo I was looking for. This board was at the summit describing the fate of the tower and the efforts to raise funds to have it rebuilt.

Still great views at the summit of Bromley even without the tower.

Cabin was there and open, but it was was a bit trashed and stunk like the rubber mats on the floor.
I thought about staying at the summit but just before dusk I watched a major thunderhead approach and hightailed it to the shelter that was at lower elevation.
