I remember reading a post by Snorkel about a new base fabric from Ex-Officio she saw at the outdoor retailer show. It looks like it is being marketed as a "Sport" version of the Give-N-Go material they've been using.

I do like the regular Give-N-Go material very much and own several briefs and a few t-shirts in it. The shirts did eventually pill or run in spots, but the undies hold up well and I use them for daily as well as trail use.

So anyone familiar with or tried the newer version of this fabric?
They don't seem to be really touting the fabric or promoting it in anyway other than offering "sport" versions of these products (briefs/boxers/V-neck shirts).

I got a couple of the 6" boxer briefs about a month ago. Only been on the trail with them on a couple short 3 day hikes. So far they have been fine. it has not been very hot around here so I can't speak for that performance yet.

Maybe I'm going crazy, but the sport mesh has been around for some time to my recollection. I have a few pairs of sport mesh boxer briefs and a sport mesh shirt. I like them a lot.

Or I am and the newer fabric hasn't come out or was just trade show talk...

It was supposed to be an update on the give-n-go fabric. my V-neck shirts are getting pretty beat up and I was thinking of some new ones. It's been a few years so maybe it's me who assumed the "sport" was the new version.
