My wife always hated rain pants -- the fit, the weight, the lack of comfort. Getting half frozen in the icy cold rain in Northern Vermont changed her mind, as did the Zpacks cuben fiber rain pants. They are insanely light, and actually fit pretty well, especially for a "unisex" garment.

in a medium and have been happy with their performance. I know it says men, but I am a woman with HIPs and it works just fine.
