I'm picking up on my section hike ending point from last year.
I hope to have at least 6 good days on the trail.
Is it easy to exit and get back to be picked up by Uber or another mode of transport -to Hiker Hotel

Check appalachiantrail.org daily.
At this time, the trail from Dicks Gap to the NOC (even NOC) is closed.

When do you want to go? Now is probably not the best time.... :(
Lots of places to get off the trail after 6 days. It's unlikely that Uber is an option, but there are plenty of shuttle providers in the area. The Hiker Hostel folks can help hook you up.
Might be a good idea to mention the pace you had doing your trip to Neel, did you start at Amicalola or at Springer, and how many days it took. Depending on pace, he might only make it to Dicks Creek Gap in 6 days.
