Where is a good starting point with good road access thats about 60-70 miles from Harpers Ferry? Look to start North of Hapers Ferry and go South-Bound.

Thanks

I agree with tiamalle, I'd start at Boiling Springs and head south. One of my favorite areas in the mid atlantic states.

I would start at Boiling Springs or Caledonia State Park. The park sits right next to Route 30. Access is easy and the camp sites at the park are beautiful.

Same question, but NOBO. I'm hoping to introduce the GF to long distance hiking.

Finally a question I can answer even with my long lay-off from the trial :) ...That used to be my favorite little hike and I think I did that exact trip maybe 15 times...I would always get dropped off as others have said at Caledonia State Park which is on Rt 30 in PA and end in Harper`s Ferry..I think it`s about 60 miles or just short of that..If you want longer perhaps Pine Grove Furnace State Park which is on Rt 233
