Hopefully ready by Christmas- A new book- a collection of short essays by a number of thru hikers, section hikers, hikers that didn't finish. It is a raw and real collection of experiences on that long transformational path- the Appalachian Trail.
Some of the authors are (by trailname) The Troverts, Yukon, Left Turn, Katwalk, Red Panda, BonBon, 30 Pack, the owners of Woods Hole Hostel, and Indiana Jean. Many more, including one by the main author, Funnybone. I have read a few of the essays, and one in particular is such a powerful story- I was sad when it ended. Published by Amazon and ready in a few weeks. If you have hiked the trail, these stories will resonate with you. If you have not but plan too, you will be inspired. Everyone has a story- a few of them are in this book. Check it out!
