Worried about the Fires - and Weather - Have not done this section in December

US 441 is currently closed in the Park due to the Chimney Tops fire.

i'm not in town right now but the TN side has been really affected by the fires and the wind today....
my station (wbir) has a few people down there covering the fires and the evacuations that are coming down......
the winds have been really bad this afternoon as well, adding to the problem.....
not sure how it will be by this weekend or not, but you may wanna have a backup plan.....

Park Closed Due to Fires
Nov. 29 - Park officials have closed all facilities in the park due to the extensive fire activity, and downed trees. Park Headquarters is currently without power and phone services.
