Hi. I'm interested in hiking this season in the South. Anyone partaking in this anytime soon I love the Damascus area and wouldn't also mind filling in at the Nc/Ga border.

One night in Lost Cove or on Mt. Mitchell for a night sometime before Christmas. Probably this Thursday or Friday.

Hot Springs? Very close to the Trail? The trail runs THROUGH the town. From one end to the other. You must not have a decent map.

stayed there last weekend! had a blast! we tented it for 2 nights in 15 and 7 degree weather, respectively, and then spent the last night at the lodge. it was a much needed respite of warmth!
