:-? There was a thread on WB some time back about Cottage Style Backpacking Food companies. I can't seem to find that list now. Anyone know where it is located. Thanks!

Good To-Go, vegan/vegetarian (like there's a difference), located in Maine. They may have outgrown cottage since I see the products at REI, Mast Store, etc. They don't rehydrate well at 11,400'.
Packit Gourmet, Austin, Texas.
Hawk Vittles. A friend likes them. That's all I know.
I'm sure there are tons more. Follow the Google trail.

Packit Gourmet has good products, a bit expensive, but good quality and taste. They also have commodity items if you put together your own meals and/or dehydrate at home.

Packit Gourmet is indeed good stuff, one more name to the mix: Maryjane farms. We buy their stuff in 3-lb sacks (only some meals come this way), makes them about $4/meal, vs. $10 for individual meals. Love the shepherds pie, the mac and cheese and the chilimac.
