well for about 2 minutes yesterday on espn radios mike and mike in the morning radio show(simulcast on espn news mon-fri 6am-10am)...both of the 2 things i love in the world...the at and sports..merged together in glorius harmony.
sean salisbury(nfl football anaylst for espn)said last week that if the the redskins won the super bowl that he would walk naked from bristol to to d.c..
of course the redskins didnt win but some guy who lived near the trail(cant remember town)sent a letter to the show and mike greenberg read it on the air.basically the letter that salisbury could walk on the at (rather then the interstate)naked to harpers ferry and almost make it to d.c. and not be spotted due to cold weather and lack of hikers on the trail at that time..and
grennberg mentioned "there is this trail that goes from ga to maine and that peple evidently hike it alot,and then the other host(mike golic)said that "well if sean decides to walk it all the way to ga southbound then he might be in trouble from all those southeners then the show played deliverance banjo music...so a little humor about a naked man hiking in the south...
anyway its rare that the at gets free publicity...
