Can anyone recommend a good boot insert that
will help alleviate foot pain? I get bad pain on the
bottom of my heals and ball of my foot after 5 miles...
I have the problem while hiking in trail runners and
my lightweight hiking boots (Zamberlans)
I have tried many different inserts and to date-
nothing is working for me... Thank you in
advance for your input. Far^~go

Fargo ...have you tried SuperFeet ? Rather than an "insert" the SuperFeet is an actual "footbed". What it does for the heel is gently squeeze the natural tissue together a bit to enhance nature's own padding. The sponge or otherwise rubber inserts generally flatten out under pressure and tend not to give the use the comfort they feel at first.

Just a thought.

Try the custom fit Superfeet, where they heat them and mold them to your feet.

Hope your feet feel better!

My second or third day on the trail I asked an AT vet, "How long does it take for the foot pain to go away?" His answer, "How long will it take you to get to Maine!"

If you haven't tried Spenco's, the cushiony one, they helped me quite a bit
