How to Attach a Waka Waka to my Pack

I was given a Waka Waka Power+ for Christmas and thought it would be nice to attach to my pack brain and use it to help keep my cell phone charged while I'm hiking. I normally turn my cell phone off during the day while section hiking in order to preserve the battery. I'm leery of sewing a Velcro patch onto the pack since it seems like that would significantly increase the likelihood of leaking, although I do use a pack cover in the rain so perhaps I shouldn't be concerned about that. Your thoughts?

My personal observation is that the trail gets very little sunlight through the trees except late fall through early spring. Doubt you would get any charge when hiking. Maybe if you stopped at a sunny overlook for a couple of hours?? But who has time for that.
