View Full Version : Just got my Whiteblaze Book
The good: it is surprisingly thoughtful and complete. It actually fills a need and has a good deal of information for resupply and related things that I was unable to find preparing for my next section hike.
it is also well controlled for size and weight.
The bad: I need to use my reading glasses to read it.
It also fits in a pocket so I find myself taking it places that I shouldn't be carrying a paperback unrelated to what I am supposed to be doing.
Nicely done.
Also so lets me read on sections when my wife has swiped the AWOL guide.

I received mine a few days ago and it is quite thorough and well thought out. But as you said, my old eyes are stained even with a pair of cheaters on. ;)
The bad: I need to use my reading glasses to read it.
Just got my copy today. I haven't had a chance to go through it but I can read it in bright sunlight without my 2.50 reading glasses. The print is slightly smaller the the AT Guide which makes the entire book smaller, a plus for me.

Take a look at the HikerBot app on the Play Store. It has a ton of AT data and growing rapidly.
