Are there any females hiking SOBO looking for a hiking partner? I am a girl planning on starting the AT SOBO in June and was wondering if there are nay other females planning on starting then. It would make my family more comfortable.

Im also planning to start in june and going solo. I like the idea of starting with some one, but I figured there will be plenty of others hiking and will find a group or buddy when I start.

KT, I am also a female sobo starting in June. I'm going to start sometime in the first few days of June (provided Katahdin is dried out and opened to foot traffic). Many of my friends and family would also be more comfortable if I had a partner or small group. If you're still looking for a partner, pm me.
