So I was out hiking by myself taking advantage of the warm weather. I was climbing up this steep hill and when I got to the top, this older gentleman was standing there. I say hello and he says,"you looked like a turtle crawling up that hill with that green pack on". We talked a for a bit and started hiking together for about 30 minutes. The whole time he kept calling me turtle.....
Just thought I'd share.

I don't think about it too often, but I am curious how I'll get mine and what it'll be. "Turtle" is a cool/fun one...

Unfortunately, "Turtle" and it's derivatives is one of the most common trial names out there. Along with variations of "snail" and the all time favorite, "MacGyver".

The Shawnee Indians adopted Daniel Boone into the tribe, and gave him the name Sheltowee, which means Big Turtle.

Yep, and especially if you're carrying that bright green Osprey Atmos 65.

I have the green Osprey in a smaller pack or I would have bought that color Atmos myself ;) I went with the grey.
