I've done some trip advisor reviews, but one on LewisMountain broke 3,000 views.
I'm amazed that the AT gets quite that much research compared to other places.

you would think so....but I section hike parts of it and have almost every single year since my thru hike. Based on your reply, you probably would be surprised at the % who still just "show up" at springer (or Mt K) every year with little or no preparation. some of them probably do make it all the way to the other end.After 2 -4 weeks you probably have figured out most of the 'how to".
