This hostel was built by a local Georgia guy and his wife who were thru-hikers and kept hearing about issues fellow hikers had encountered trying to get to the GA terminus. It has been enough years, so that I do not remember their names, but I will never forget the hearty hike breakfasts ant their beautiful, clean hostel with bamboo floors. There dependable shuttle service will get you within one mile of the AT starting/finishing point via a forest road.
