Elkwallow to Front Royal/522

Hi All,
Planning to hike from Elkwallow Wayside to the trail crossing of 522 this weekend, and hope to do it in one day. Is this a tough section? (It looks pretty flat). Anyone done this in a single day?

[Odd Man Out]

I hiked from Compton Gap to Elkwallow last June. I got a late start (9 AM?) And quit early as I was pretty tired. But then it was a hot summer day and the first day of a section hike so I wasn't in shape. Going the other way you would have to add the miles from Compton Gap to FR, but that's all downhill. If you can start earlier, hike later, have better weather, and be in better shape than me, then it is possible I suppose.
