Trail crosses road - Pick up

:confused:Is Uber in North Carolina available for use to be picked up from the highway where it crosses the AT?:-?

Most of the places where the trail crosses a road in North Carolina are in dead zones. Uber hasn't reached into the rural areas of North Carolina yet.

Don't know why you want to Uber NC trail. Plenty of ease to hitch a ride. Picked up many of hikers and drove them into town.

Google "AT shuttle list", and you'll find a PDF file (or a link to it) with shuttlers up and down the entire length of the AT. Not sure where in NC you plan to get off... Assuming somewhere south of the Smokies, there are folks that handle that whole area. Pick a name, give 'em a call, and make the arrangement for where to meet, when, and $how much. Not a perfect system, but it works well. :)
