Looking for shuttle Asheville NC--Hot Springs, then Carver Gap/19E--Asheville

Hey folks,

I'm visiting the AT again for the first time in a few years after to moving to Seattle. I'm planning to hike from Hot Springs to Carver Gap May 4-9. I'm flying into and out of Asheville.

1.) Can anyone provide a ride/shuttle for me from Asheville to Hot Springs the morning of May 4th?

2.) Can anyone provide a ride/shuttle for me from Carver Gap/19E back to Asheville on May 9 or 10?

Check with Bluff Mt. Outfitters for the AVL - Hot Springs leg.

Carver's Gap back to AVL check with Mountain Harbor B&B&Hostel.

The AT shuttle list has other options but these 2 are pretty goof-proof.

This is a traditional taxi service and such rates would apply but they are very attentive and accommodating. They run a small couple of vehicle show. John is a friend and one of the drivers. If you go this route ask for him and use my name George a referral. He backpacks and has good local knowledge.
